How did Sherlock not know Lestrade’s first name after years of pickpocketing him and taking his IDs?
He deleted the information after they broke up.
It was too emotional to keep inside his head.
My headcanon is that Sherlock keeps all private Lestrade information in a password-protected file that can only be accessed by a specific spoken phrase.
- # sherlock resets the password and temporarily deletes everything after each encounter
- # this is why he can be such an ass to lestrade professionally
- # it bugs me that we call it sherstrade on tumblr and sherlestrade on lj
- # consistency is all i ask
- # this is what plagues me while i try to fall asleep
