Things I concern myself with while at work:

-In a Sherlock/Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fusion, would Lestrade be Sisko or Odo? Would Bashir be Watson to Garak’s Sherlock, or would Bashir be Sherlock to O’Brien’s Watson? Is Gul Dukat clever enough to be Moriarty? Garak’s definitely clever enough for it, but he’s got a soft spot where Bashir is concerned. Or does he?

Sherlock and Deep Space Nine? ♥ ♥ ♥

a) Lestrade is more Sisko-y than Odo-y, I think. They both care deeply about their people. They will bend the rules in order to protect those people. They’re both emissaries to quasi-godlike aliens (lol). They’re both “kings.” And shallowly, they’re both hot and have awesome voices.

b) This is a toughie. I’ve been going back and forth about it, but I think Garak-Sherlock and Bashir-John? I keep talking myself in and out of it. Each character has some aspects that fit pretty well, and then others that don’t mesh at all.

c) Dukat is such a self-absorbed dumbass, I just can’t see him being Moriarty. Given what we’ve seen of them when they possess a body, I guess I’d make Moriarty a pagh wraith. They’re malevolent and capricious enough.
